Two Easy Ways To Never Miss Out Again

There are many ups and downs in life, as well as occasionally some sideways moments. Dealing with situations that go wrong, don't go according to plan, or cause us to lose our composure and question our abilities can be challenging. We all want things to go well and to emerge as "winners," after all. However, we will constantly face difficulties in life, and nothing is under our control. We shouldn't try either. The difference is not in what happens to you, but in what you do with what occurs to you. Here are two simple strategies you can use to win every time and to never miss out again.

1. Put Your Strengths First

Sorry to break it to you, but we are a group of contradictions. Sometimes joyful, sometimes depressing; occasionally optimistic, sometimes gloomy; occasionally immature, sometimes brilliantly bright. We also have a ton of deficiencies that have an impact on what we do and how we do it, yet we frequently focus more on our flaws than our strengths. A strength is something you do consistently well, something you're just good at, something you're hard-wired to perform well, and something you like doing naturally. Complex problem-solving skills, empathy for others, a vivid imagination, or the ability to prepare the ideal omelette are just a few examples. It makes total sense to concentrate on your strengths rather than your weaknesses. When you focus on and play to your strengths you are guaranteed to obtain results and can even minimize any negative impact your shortcomings might have. When you look at what you're not good at, you feel horrible about yourself and your abilities. In contrast, when you look at what you are good at, you feel a sense of pride and satisfaction in yourself.

2. Prepare ahead of time.

Sure, there will be occasions when you may just head into something, do great at it, and get the result you were looking for (often if you're playing to your strengths), but there will also be instances when you can fumble forward, wing it, and not get the result you wanted. If you prepare for success in advance, you'll have a far better chance of achieving any chances or problems you're facing. So, what do you exactly want to happen? What resolution, result, or outcome would be ideal? Get crystal clear on the result you desire from the situation you're in and how it would feel to get it. Start by breaking it down; ask yourself what you can do to create the stage for your desired result. What needs to be implemented? What will facilitate the achievement of your goals? And what are you prepared to undertake in order to guarantee the greatest result? Start small, set achievable goals and work your way up to larger tasks.
