**Mr. President: Finding Hope in Uncertain Times**
As we face the reality of Vice President Kamala Harris losing the 2024 election to Donald Trump, many of us feel a sense of grief, worry, and uncertainty. It can feel like our worst fears have come to pass. But let’s take a breath together and remember that even in dark seasons, dawn still rises. "Joy cometh in the morning," as scripture reminds us, and just as Bob Marley sang, “Every little thing is gonna be alright.”
This isn’t just a call to optimism; it’s a call to resilience, to a faith that rises above fear and reaches across divides. Even if the world feels tilted, we are not powerless. Our power lies in living from a place of love, of mercy, and of grace, even when it’s hard. To those who may celebrate this change in leadership, let’s be the voice that shows compassion and understanding—even if they operate from a place of fear or judgment. Let’s remind them, through our own example, that love, not fear, is the higher path.
As we step into this next chapter, may we commit to being voices of peace, people of kindness, and champions of hope. We cannot change every circumstance, but we can choose how we respond. And in that response, we create the world we want to live in—one act of grace, one word of mercy, one moment of love at a time.
