How to do a simple three card spread:
Numerous Tarot card spreads are available for use when reading Tarot cards. To effectively interpret the cards, you must be familiar with their meanings and how you relate to them in a spread. Once you are familiar with each card on its own, you can begin learning how to interpret them in a spread. Most Tarot Card readers are familiar with the Celtic Cross Spread, but a basic three-card spread is an excellent way for beginners to learn how to read cards.
Even before you begin using a three-card spread, there is a daily exercise you can do to improve your reading. The purpose is to become acquainted with the cards and the concept of card reading. It is simple to execute and will improve your card-reading skills in general.
You shuffle your cards and draw one each day to determine the course of your day. Based on the card you draw, you conduct a reading for yourself. Evaluate the card's significance for the day. This is a fantastic way to become acquainted with the cards and their meanings. In addition, it helps you develop your intuition, which is essential for reading the Tarot.
Now that you are aware of this, we will proceed to the Three Card Spread.
Here are the Procedures for a Three Card Reading:
1. Focus on Your Question
2. Mix Your Playing Cards
3. Select one of the Cards and place it in the table's center. This card represents the "current situation" relevant to your question.
4. You must then select a second card and place it to the left of the initial card. In relation to the query you posed, this is the past. Remember that the past could be as recent as yesterday or even the night before. Based on your inquiry, it does not necessarily imply years ago. This card connects you to the current situation or card in the middle.
5. Next Place your third card to the right of your middle card. This is the outcome or future stance on the question. Remember that the future could refer to later that day. It does not necessarily mean next year.
In conclusion, there you have it! You just did a reading. Simple and straightforward. When you reach a level of comfort with this, you can begin to explore more complex types of spreads.
