Dream interpretation as a strategy for personal development?
My response is yes. To answer the question of how this is possible, however, I have no clear answers. I can only remark that the Soul/Higher self/Source/guiding Spirit's hand operates in strange ways. The most direct method of accessing this cosmic wisdom is to comprehend our dreams. Compared to other procedures such as clairvoyant training and other psychic advancements, this is one of the most straightforward approaches. The reason for this convenience is that most people dream!
Intriguingly, dream interpretation can be used to other fields as well. It has been successfully utilized to decipher the symbols of our clairvoyant vision during meditation. Understanding the symbolism can facilitate a move to more advanced and abstract modes of knowledge.
I believe that certain talents are essential for successful dream interpretation. One of these characteristics is a developed intuition. Unfortunately, no dream interpretation book or website can possess this capacity. It is something that can only be fostered by ourselves.
Intuition links and establishes recognizable connections between seemingly unconnected dream images and symbols.
This arranges the links into a coherent and significant message.
Intuition is not logical thought. Simply put, it is the inner understanding of feeling/sensing that transcends logic and reason. Indeed, intuition is a legitimate cognitive process. Unfortunately, our current society is dominated by mental rationalization, and as a result, it is incapable of validating a higher-order process such as intuition. In other words, we have placed an excessive amount of importance on logic, proof, and reasoning.
Sometimes intuition cannot predict the results of events. In many instances, an inner knowledge alone provides explanations and answers.
If one's views are dominated by elitism and a sense of superiority, one should conduct a more thorough evaluation before getting too carried away. These may not be intuitive notions. If they imply statements such as "You will become wealthy and famous if you do this" or "she must be mistaken since I am smarter," verify their statements. This notion may originate from the ego/personality component concerned with body-mind survival.
